One day, a junior sculptor was assigned the almost impossible task of creating a sculpture in 2 days. After one day, when the senior sculptor visited to check the progress, he saw that the junior sculptor was making the art piece. But he saw similar looking sculpture placed next to it. When he asked the junior sculptor why he was making another one, the junior sculptor showed him a tiny crack at the back of the first sculpture. The senior exclaimed “How does it matter? It’s at the back and cannot be seen! Who would know that the sculpture has a slight crack?”
The junior sculptor replied, “No one else might know, but I would remember. And I cannot live with my creation having even a tiny flaw.” The senior was impressed and said, “Son, your commitment to excellence is commendable”.
